About Courtland
Courtland Jones, originally from Arizona, is an M.F.A graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design where she studied with tony award winning director Sharon Ott and Harvard graduate and internationally trained voice coach Vivian Majakowski. Courtland was seen in such shows as an original production of Dead Elephants by Michelle Tully, Spring Awakening, Vagina Monologues, as well as an award winning Improv troupe. Upon graduating, Courtland has been a full-time actor in New England, working with companies such as Apollinaire Theatre Company on their productions of Caucasian Chalk Circle (Grusha), Midsummer: A Play with Songs (Helena), and their upcoming production of Detroit (Sharon). Courtland has worked with Bad Habit Productions of The Real Thing (Annie) and Top Girls (Marlene). The Longwood Players in the show Rock and Roll and Fresh Ink’s reading and workshop of Clytemnestra.
Courtland also works extensively in film, commercials and television, working for companies such as Liberty Mutual, Tide, Unreal Candy, and Cumberland Farms. Courtland worked on films such as: The Judge (2014), Real Love(2013), The Basement (2013), and 10.38 (2014). Courtland also worked as assistant casting director for Disney’s The Finest Hours, shot locally in MA. With three feature films in progress for 2015 and is looking forward to working with Apollinaire again, she is looking forward to a productive year!
